Kenneth Song began his musical journey at the age of eight with the flute and piano. At fourteen, he officially chose music as his career path by majoring in piano, later earning recognition in numerous youth competitions, including the Grand Prize at the Sekwang International Competition and the Top Prize at the Yonsei Music Competition. He also served as the piano department representative at Seoul School of Performing Arts.

After graduating high school, Kenneth contributed to over 50 commercial music projects, covering composition, arrangement, recording, and mixing. Through these projects, he developed extensive hands-on experience across various production environments.

He graduated from Berklee College of Music, majoring in Electronic Production & Design and Film Scoring, with minors in Theory of Jazz & Popular Song and Record and Production for Musicians. Following his graduation in 2026, he officially made his debut as a film music director.

Kenneth’s primary digital audio workstation is Ableton Live, complemented by Cubase, Logic Pro, and Pro Tools depending on the needs of each project. He focuses on composition, sound design, and arrangement in Ableton, Cubase, and Logic, while mixing and mastering are handled in either Ableton or Pro Tools based on workflow.

His core strengths include foley-style sound design, hybrid orchestration, and full-spectrum production skills, enabling him to meet the diverse technical demands of commercial music and media scoring. With a strong foundation in electronic music and cross-disciplinary expertise, Kenneth delivers cohesive and technically polished results.

Musically, Kenneth focuses on hybrid orchestration blending jazz, contemporary music, and electronic textures, rhythm-driven fusion jazz, and cinematic soundscapes shaped by avant-garde and fantastical narratives. His work is characterized by fast turnaround, precise direction, and a balanced commitment to efficiency and creative depth.

송기남은 여덟 살에 플루트와 피아노로 음악을 시작했습니다. 열네 살에 음악을 진로로 공식 선택하여 피아노를 전공하였으며, 세광 국제콩쿠르 대상, 연세 음악콩쿠르 최우수상 등 다수의 청소년 콩쿠르에서 입상했습니다. 또한 서울공연예술고등학교에서 피아노 전공 대표로 활동했습니다.

고등학교 졸업 이후 작곡, 편곡, 녹음, 믹싱을 포함해 50개 이상의 상업 음악 프로젝트에 참여하며 폭넓은 실무 경험을 쌓았습니다.

송기남은 Berklee College of Music에서 Electronic Production and Design과 Film Scoring을 전공하고, Theory of Jazz & Popular Song과 Record and Production for Musicians를 부전공으로 이수하였습니다. 2026년 졸업 직후 영화음악감독으로 공식 데뷔하였습니다.

주된 DAW는 Ableton Live와 Cubase이며, 프로젝트 성격에 따라 Logic Pro와 Pro Tools를 병행합니다. 작곡, 사운드 디자인, 편곡은 Ableton, Cubase, Logic에서 진행하고, 믹싱과 마스터링은 작업 방식에 따라 Ableton 또는 Pro Tools를 사용합니다.
